Restoration Exchange is among three Omaha nonprofits selected to receive a $10,000 grant from Hayneedle to provide additional support for their missions. Hayneedle, founded in 2002 as hammocks.com, is one of the nation’s leading online retailers for indoor and outdoor home furnishings and décor. Based in Omaha, it employs more than 1,000 people nationwide and is part of the Walmart family of brands.
“A nonprofit is only effective if others believe in its work,” said Laura Shiffermiller, Restoration Exchange’s interim executive director. “REO’s alliance with Hayneedle is a beautiful example of two organizations joining forces around a common interest.” Hayneedle will partner with REO on the 2018 Fall Neighborhood Tour and be recognized as the presenting sponsor.
