Did you know Restoration Exchange maintains an online resource directory to help you with your restoration needs? Organized by category, it contains listings for everything from architects to windows. Below, get to know McGill Restoration.
McGill Restoration, located at 2821 Grebe Street in Omaha, was founded by Tim P. McGill in 1985 when he branched off from his father’s painting business, Frank McGill Inc. Its mission statement is building relationships through craftsmanship.
After five years in business, the company moved to a larger facility to meet the demand for services. Eighteen years later, it expanded again to the more than 30,000 square-foot facility in the heart of the Florence, its current home. McGill Restoration also opened a 6,000 square-foot facility launched in Lincoln in 2013.
Tim’s oldest son, Rich, joined the company in 1991. His middle son, Tim Jr., also became part of the family business in 1994. Rich and Tim helped expand the company by branching off into other types of restoration work in parking garages, stadiums and bridges. Tim Sr. stepped down as president in 2010, giving Rich and Tim equal ownership in McGill Restoration Inc. In 2014, they opened a second McGill Restoration location in Lincoln. At the end of 2015, Tim Jr. purchased Rich’s portion of the business and today serves as president/CEO of McGill Restoration Inc.
The company’s footprint and services have extended outside of the state of Nebraska and continue to grow throughout the Midwest. Current services include:
- Parking garages/stadium repairs
- Industrial restoration and coatings
- Infrastructure repairs and high-performance coatings
- Masonry restoration
