Architectural photographer Tom Kessler shared some of the tricks of the trade last week with ninth-grade students who are helping REO write, illustrate and publish a walking tour guide of North 24th Street. Students listened and practiced the art of capturing building images both inside and out. Meanwhile, other students were listening to Patricia Barron discuss the origins of soul food, then sampling the fare at Big Mama’s Kitchen. The students are working with Restoration Exchange Omaha in cooperation with Partnership 4 Kids.
