Restoration Exchange Omaha highlighted its mission of restoring older buildings with a party at the historic Flatiron building May 20 during Omaha Gives! day.
Over 100 people dropped by to view the progress at the Flatiron, which is being converted by Dicon Corp. into 30 luxury apartments and additional retail space. Dicon President and REO board member Royce Maynard gave tours of the building, which is expected to be completed later this summer.
Through the “Omaha Gives!” campaign, REO brought in more than $3,000 from 114 donors and also raised awareness among the public.
