Restoration Exchange will once again be participating in the annual Omaha Gives! campaign – “a 24-hour, online giving event…to contribute as many charitable dollars as possible to support the work of local nonprofit organizations.” Mark your calendars for May 20!
Omaha Gives! represents a great opportunity for us not simply to raise funds, but also to raise awareness for our work in educating and motivating the area to restore this areas great old homes and buildings.
Last year, we received 100 donations totaling $3,400, and also earned three new memberships and more than 50 new “likes” on our Facebook page.
In celebration of Omaha Gives!, REO will invite the community to help us restore a local building from 4 to 7 p.m. Have your work gloves ready to join in on this restoration project! Drinks and food will be provided. Keep your eyes on our Facebook page for specifics.
